Building and testing Java software with Eclipse IDE 1/3

A short guide for beginners who want to work with Java in Eclipse

After downloading just Eclipse or Eclipse plus Web Tools ( for building web applications, JSP and such) and installing(=extracting), start up the Eclipse IDE
(installdir\eclipse\eclipse.exe)
(Eclipse WebTools Platform; All-in-one)



Choose the location for a workspace that can contain several projects




Choose File, New, Project, Java Project

Name it and press Finish right away
